Son of Fort Wayne and proud leader of this three-time All-America City, Mayor Tom Henry is its most ardent champion. During these challenging times, his singular focus is on ensuring Fort Wayne is a place where good jobs can grow and families can thrive. His resolve has made spurring job creation and business investment his priority. He has also kept the City fiscally strong while continually investing in its infrastructure, enhancing downtown and strengthening its neighborhoods. His firm belief in working together to achieve common goals made him a natural choice for the inaugural chair of the Indiana Urban Mayor Caucus. That same commitment put him in the forefront of greater Fort Wayne-Allen County collaboration efforts leading to the full co-location of city and county governments and a 911 communications merger. A successful small-business owner before becoming Mayor, he represented the people of the 3rd District on Fort Wayne City Council for 20 years. Henry holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of St. Francis and served his country in the U.S. Army.
