Critical Orthopedic Design & Manufacturing Issues to be Covered at Leading Industry Conference

08/17/2009

Fourth Annual ODT Conference & Exhibition Slated for Oct. 6-8, 2009, in  Fort Wayne, Ind.

RAMSEY, N.J.—More than 400 leading manufacturers and industry experts will gather for the only orthopedic conference and exhibition where high-profile speakers and suppliers showcase their knowledge and expertise for a “must-attend,” two-day event. This year, the fourth Annual ODT Conference & Exhibition builds on its reputation for providing timely and relevant educational conference presentations that include general sessions as well as concurrent tracks (Track A: Engineering & Design and Track B: Orthopedic Manufacturing Strategy).

The conference kicks off on Wednesday with thought leader Robin Young, president and founder of RRY Publications. His keynote will examine how technology can either improve or impede innovation. This year, the conference and exhibition has expanded to two full days, offering ample educational and networking opportunities. In addition to Mr. Young, attendees will hear from and interact with expert speakers from companies including Orchid, DePuy Orthopaedics, Synthes, Laser Spine Institute and many more.

New this year: A networking cocktail reception has been incorporated into exhibition hours. You won’t miss any conference sessions or need to stay after hours to take advantage of this feature. On Wednesday afternoon, from 3:00-4:30,  grab a refreshment and use this time to meet suppliers, make new contacts and catch up with colleagues all under one roof. The exhibition hall will host more than 80 industry-leading suppliers, including Fort Wayne Metals, Autocam Medical, Teleflex and a host of others.

Registration is now open for all attendees at www.odtexpo.com.

As in years past, OEMs (finished goods manufacturers, see Web site for details) are offered complimentary access to the exhibition hall, conference sessions and all networking and meal functions.
