Gator Cases, Inc. Investing $354,000 in New Equipment

GRABILL, Ind. (Sept. 2, 2011) — Gator Cases, Inc., announced today they will be investing in new equipment for their Grabill location. Over the next three years the company plans to invest $354,000 on new molding equipment, add an additional twenty five personnel to its team and be eligible for a three year tax abatement that would save them $118,473.

Gator Cases headquarters is located in Tampa, Florida and has a manufacturing facility in Grabill, Indiana. Gator’s Grabill operation currently employs twenty-three personnel and its strategic plan includes the addition of twenty-five personnel over the upcoming three and a half years, with the addition of five personnel planned in 2011.  The company has already increased its employment at its Grabill facility by seventy seven percent since acquiring the business in December 2008.

“We are excited to invest in our Grabill operations,” said Jeff Settano, vice president of global operations.  “This investment in a new rotational molding machine, and downstream manufacturing support equipment, will greatly increase our capacity and capabilities to produce larger products.”  “The new equipment, along with our recent implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles will continue us down the path to world class manufacturing in Grabill Indiana.”
