Company to reinvest in Interstate Industrial Park location

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Mar. 24, 2009) —GCG Industries, Inc., a metal machining company, has announced it will add two new pieces of CNC equipment to its 4636 Newaygo Road location. The overall investment for the project will be around $250,000 and could call for the addition of up to six employees. The project is expected to be completed by March 2009.
GCG Industries, Inc. manufactures parts for a wide variety of industries, including the medical, agricultural, wire extrusion and recreational vehicle markets. The company was established in 1988 by Terry Gardner, and remains a family operated business yet today.

In order to remain competitive in the machining industry, GCG Industries, Inc. will add the new CNC equipment that will allow the company to expand its capacities and reach out for additional business.

The company has requested that taxes on the reinvestment be phased in over time. GCG Industries, Inc. could realize $12,000 in tax savings over ten years if the request is approved by the City of Fort Wayne. The request will be introduced to the Fort Wayne Common Council at tonight’s meeting.
