Fort Wayne, Ind. (Jan. 30, 2009) — Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) has announced that it will add three courses on supply chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to its Division of Continuing Studies. The classes will be instructed by father and son, Robert and Chris Palevich, respectively.
The two supply chain courses available are High Velocity Manufacturing: Third Generation Supply Chain Execution Strategies and RFID in Business and Supply Chain Management. Robert Palevich and John E. Layden will instruct the Supply Chain Execution Strategies course on February 18, at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC). The Supply Chain Management classes will be taught by Chris Palevich and are slated to begin in March. Robert Palevich will also instruct the ERP course, Enterprise Resource Planning: Managing the Enterprise with the World’s Largest Business Software, beginning in April.
The Alliance is pleased that the Division of Continuing Studies has given companies in the area opportunities to enhance their employee training by providing supplementary training programs such as these for the transportation, distribution and logistics and communications and defense industries.

Robert Palevich is the director of the B.E.S.T Center, a center for knowledge management and networking for Northeast Indiana. He holds an MBA degree from Indiana University. Chris Palevich has RFID certifications from IBM, CompTIA and OTA. He is a Green Belt Six Sigma and earned his Bachelor’s degree at IPFW.
