Naltner has served the Economic Development Alliance since its founding in October, 2000. He works to help grow base employers already in the community as well as working with companies outside the community considering relocating or expanding here. As the former vice president of the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Division, Naltner tracks new and pending state and federal legislation to keep not only business owners and managers informed of new laws, but also to educate local providers of legal, financial and other professional services to the business community. Naltner also connects companies with the business resources available from the city, county and state economic development departments.
Naltner was elected president for 2006 of the Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA). He also previously served the Region 3A Economic Development District and Regional Planning Commission as executive director and before that as a community development planner.
Naltner holds a bachelors degree in Business and Economics from Indiana University.
Scott is a native of Cincinnati, OH and his daughter works for the Ms. Foundation in Brooklyn, NY. He resides in Fort Wayne and is president of the Limberlost Neighborhood Association and Witmer Lake Association located in Wolcottville, IN.
